About My Clients

My clients are typically professionals who identify as a bit unconventional & creative who may feel like it's a struggle to advocate for themselves, often feel overwhelmed, & maybe even burnt out. You may feel like on the outside you've got it together but internally struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, even loneliness or shame. Struggling with procrastination, keeping track of tasks, and feeling overwhelmed may sound familiar as well.

My Background and Approach

As a therapist and fellow ADHDer, I'm here to support you from a place of both professional and lived experience. I come from a strengths-based approach and want to empower you to better understand ADHD or anxiety and how it's impacted you throughout your life. To support and guide you on a path towards your authentic self so you can build relationships that feel more fulfilling. I use skill-building that focuses on how your brain works best so you can build long-lasting skills that help to minimize feelings of overwhelm in your life. I will support you in getting to know all of the parts of yourself more fully so that you can have a better relationship with yourself and feel more confident.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

It's important to me that my clients are supported from a neurodiversity-affirming lens. This means that I will respect and support the way your brain operates. I know what it's like to receive care that isn't affirming and it can lead to feelings of shame, a sense of failure, negative beliefs about yourself, anxiety, and depression. You may have already experienced this in places such as healthcare services, workplace environments, and education institutions and felt like you were the problem. The good news is that you are not and I'm here to create a space for you to feel like you can come as you are and feel supported, your experiences affirmed. I will work with you to come up with ways of doing things that actually feel more intuitive and support your unique brain. If you'd like to learn more about neurodiversity-affirming care, please check out my blog entry about it on my website.
