About My Clients
I take a trauma informed approach to the counseling process. I also welcome the opportunity to work with clients who seek assistance with issues other than trauma. It is my honor to walk with my clients on their journey of self-discovery, whether that means assisting them in their recovery from trauma, working on anxiety or depression, getting to the root of relationship difficulties, or processing the loss of a loved one.
My Background and Approach
I believe that the therapeutic alliance should be one that fosters self-discovery and healing in a safe, nonjudgmental, empathic environment. I help each of my clients to explore the roots of current problems and work collaboratively with them to find solutions. I believe that the approaches used with each client should be tailored to that individual. My therapeutic stance is rooted in the understanding that each and every person possesses unlimited potential for personal growth and healing. I believe in meeting each client where they are at, and I am comfortable implementing a range of different techniques to help my clients reach their goals.
