About My Clients
I work best with clients who are navigating stress, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, identity shifts, or relationship challenges. I especially support youth, teens, and young adults, as well as parents and helping professionals who carry heavy emotional loads. I partner with clients at their pace—building trust, safety, and confidence in themselves as they learn new ways to live, relate, and move toward what matters most.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a background in trauma-informed counseling, somatic approaches, mindfulness, CBT, experiential and nature-based and equine-facilitated therapy. I draw from neuroscience and nervous system regulation to help clients understand and shift emotional patterns in practical, everyday ways. I offer both traditional office-based therapy and experiential work with horses, which can deepen emotional awareness, confidence, boundaries, and relational healing. My focus is creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. Sessions can be scheduled in-person, telehealth, or outdoors—depending on what helps you feel most grounded and supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens through relationship—connection to self, others, and the natural world. I am committed to fostering a practice that is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in social justice values. I support LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals, as well as those from rural and working communities who may have had limited access to care. I value authenticity, mutual respect, and gentle humor when appropriate. Outside the therapy room, I am part of a small horse ranch community that emphasizes family, horsemanship, and nature-based wellness. I see therapy not as “fixing” what is wrong, but nurturing what is strong, resilient, and ready to grow.
