I have extensive history helping clients manage and recover from their anxiety symptoms. Using evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT, incorporating mindfulness concepts, and helping clients understand the core of their anxiety symptoms.

I have extensive history helping clients manage and recover from post traumatic stress symptoms, whether this comes from complex (multiple) traumas or a one-time occurrence. Using evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT, as well as using EMDR and Internal Family Systems models for more complex symptoms.

My background includes working with clients who have extensive, complex trauma including trauma from childhood. I understand how debilitating traumatic experiences can be and the importance of incorporating self-compassion for the trauma survivor throughout trauma work.

I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR provider. I have used EMDR therapy effectively with many clients of all ages. It is one of my favorite interventions and a truly powerful intervention.

CBT is such a wonderful, straight-forward, skill-based intervention I probably use with all of my clients to some extent. Teaching ways our thoughts, behaviors, and feelings are all connected, and empowering clients to understand how they can use this intervention to bring about long-term sustainable change is something I love helping people with.
