About My Clients
I specialize in treating anxiety, ADHD, and OCD, in older children, adolescents, and adults. Using evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients understand how anxiety works, break free from unhelpful patterns, and build confidence in managing life's challenges.
My Background and Approach
My background is unique in that I have worked as both a licensed clinical social worker and a middle school administrator. In addition to providing therapy, I have spent years supporting students, collaborating with families, and working alongside educators to help children succeed emotionally, socially, and academically.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel accepted, respected, and free to be themselves. I am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment for people of all backgrounds and identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and families. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe therapy should provide practical tools while also helping you feel genuinely understood and supported. Drawing on my experience as both a therapist and a school administrator, I also enjoy helping children, teens, parents, and families navigate the intersection of mental health and school when those challenges arise. My goal is to meet you where you are, build on your strengths, and help you create meaningful, lasting change.
