Psychologist specializing in psychological testing for children and adults (autism, developmental, learning disability testing) and PCIT
Psychologist in Glenview, IL
I have taken specialized training on perinatal mental health to support women dealing with postpartum depression or anxiety, postpartum OCD, or other difficulties during the perinatal period.
I specialize in autism assessment for children as early as 12 months and work with children and adults who are seeking diagnostic testing. I enjoy doing autism evaluations with young children and with girls and adults who are being evaluated later, with more complex and subtle presentations. I used both conventional and qualitative measures to assess for both observable and less obvious symptoms. I have training in social skills therapy, ABA, and PDA (pathological demand avoidance).
I do psychological testing for children as early as 12 months to determine developmental delays and autism and comprehensive evaluations to assess for behavior problems, ADHD, and LD in children and adolescents. I am certified in PCIT, a specialized parent-child behavior therapy to help children ages 2-7 with behavior problems.
I am a certified Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist. PCIT is an evidence-based family therapy which supports parents in dealing with behavior problems in young kids (ages 2-7).
I have a strong background in child psychological evaluation, and more than 10 years experience with testing children from ages 1 to adulthood. I am able to do developmental evaluations, autism evaluations, educational evaluations, and other psychological testing.
I do comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults to assess for learning disorders, ADHD, and other conditions which may affect learning.
