About My Clients

I like being able to help guide families toward treatments that will be most beneficial. I take a lot of pride in being able to help individuals learn about themselves or their child and learn what they can do moving forward. I want you to walk away from an evaluation with clear steps of your or your child’s strengths and needs, along with what to do next.

My Background and Approach

If you are looking for someone to complete a psychological evaluation, you want someone who can understand what you need and take the steps to look at all of the information and provide you with answers. I have done thousands of evaluations for children and adults over the years for a variety of referral questions. This experience helps me understand the needs for different types of evaluations. The assessments used, the language of a report, and the recommendations can mean the difference between a good report and a great report.  I’ve been able to help families get the documentation they need to start ASD therapy for their young children, get accommodations in school and for high stakes testing, including the GRE, move forward with adoption, learn more about their ADHD or autism, and done IMEs (Independent Medical Examination) to support clients as they pursue disability benefits.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I provide a safe place, free of judgement, where you can be open and start getting some answers and help. Many of the families I’ve worked with have wondered about things for years but haven’t known where to turn. Others have gotten evaluations but felt that they were “cookie cutter” or not personalized to their child’s needs. The adults I work with often want to know if they have autism or ADHD for their own peace of mind. It helps them understand themselves and also how to approach differences with others. It can help with choosing a career path, being able to discuss difficulties with friends and partners, and lead to accommodations in school or social work.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
