Having worked in private practice, high risk clinics, and inpatient hospital units, my experience is extensive, diverse, and contemporary across many ages, backgrounds, and needs. My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker with advanced clinical training in psychotherapy/psychoanalysis. I am a Ph.D candidate in clinical psychotherapy. Having worked in private practice, high risk clinics, and inpatient hospital units, my experience is extensive, diverse, and contemporary across many ages, backgrounds, and needs. I have 6 years experience working in hospitals and for the past two years I have worked as a Clinical Director of Behavioral Health for high risk clinics. I will work with you to focus on the following: 1) expression of emotion; 2) exploration of attempts to avoid distressing thoughts and feelings; 3) Identification of recurring themes and patterns in your life; 4) discuss past experience across your development; 5) focus on your relationships; 6) focus on our therapeutic relationship.
