About My Clients
You may be navigating ADHD, dyslexia, another learning disability, anxiety or depression while trying to keep up with school, work and everyday responsibilities. Burnout, recovery or a major life or career change may have made old strategies stop working. I work with teens and adults who want to understand how they learn and function, reduce self-criticism and build practical ways to manage stress, focus and follow-through.
My Background and Approach
My style is down-to-earth, honest and collaborative. Therapy with me is a real conversation, with room for humor as well as the hard parts. We will identify your strengths, understand the barriers in front of you and develop strategies that fit your life. The work is supportive, skills-focused and narrative: we can question the stories that have defined you by what is difficult, build resilience and practice new ways of approaching decisions, routines and transitions. I offer warmth and encouragement, along with a gentle push when it helps you stay connected to your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful change grows from self-awareness and the freedom to see yourself as more than a diagnosis, school history or difficult chapter. Learning differences can shape confidence for years, especially when people have been told they are not trying hard enough. Therapy can help you rewrite that story without ignoring the real obstacles you face. I value compassion, authenticity and helping people recognize the strengths they have already used to get this far.
