About My Clients
You might be an ex-evangelical untangling shame, a queer or trans adult done explaining yourself, or a late-diagnosed ADHD/autistic person with a brilliant brain and a tired nervous system. Maybe you grew up too fast and feel behind on everything you missed. Maybe you're a burnt-out former gifted kid, or in an ethically non-monogamous relationship that deserves a therapist who gets it. If you intellectualize everything and feel stuck, you're in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I'm a queer, neurodivergent therapist for people who've always felt like too much: the "problem child" who feels deeply, says the wrong thing, and never quite fits. I spent years in community mental health supporting people through suicidal ideation and severe mental illness, and in schools and universities helping young people find their voice and their community. So you can say the hard stuff here, and I won't flinch. Together we'll make sense of your patterns with parts work (IFS), attachment, narrative, DBT, and ERP/I-CBT for OCD. My goal is that you leave with a few tools that fit your brain and a clearer sense of who you are. Fidget, tangent, skip eye contact. I specialize in complex trauma, religious trauma, ADHD/autism, and ethically non-monogamous couples.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a queer, neurodivergent therapist, and my values shape how I practice. I'm anti-racist, co-conspirator in the work against injustice, and I believe therapy should name systems of oppression instead of pathologizing people for surviving them. I'm sex-positive, pro-body autonomy, and affirming of all genders, orientations, bodies, and relationship structures, including ethical non-monogamy. I work from a HAES lens. Because I've lived through religious trauma, queer life, and chronic illness, I know what it's like to be told who you're supposed to be. You are the expert on your life, and I see my role is to be a supportive scaffolding where all your parts are welcome while you learn to build strong foundations. Outside the office, I'm over-caffeinated, testing the newest fidget, reading nearly anything, starting new hobbies, and loving on fur babies. I believe healing needs humor, whimsy, and compassion.
