I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who has experience using harm reduction, somatic exercises, DBT, narrative therapy and more to help individuals process difficult life experiences. Trauma can stem from all sorts of things - from domestic violence to assault to motor vehicle accidents. My goal is to offer support and help people create a new normal so they can learn to feel safe and enjoy life more.

There are various reasons why someone might feel lack of motivation, loss of interest and overall low mood. It might be due to situational or environmental changes, or it could be something deeper and more chronic. By using empathy, compassion and honesty I work with client's on exploring both the root cause(s) of their depression and help identify new ways of coping so they are thriving and not just surviving.

Not everyone identifies adverse life experiences as trauma but if the past continues to negatively impact them in the present, it may be worth exploring and working through. I am a certified clinical trauma professional and help people working through a variety of traumatic experiences including complicated grief, domestic violence, medical trauma, childhood abuse/neglect, ACOA, etc. My goal is to guide you through the healing process and to help you feel more empowered.

As a certified clinical trauma professional and I use various evidence-based approaches to help individuals learn to feel more grounded/safe, process unresolved trauma and recognize how it shows up in their daily life and relationships in order to heal and move forward.

By incorporating DBT strategies in therapy I help teach clients tools to emotionally self-regulate, become more body-aware and mindful, manage interpersonal stress and change unhelpful habits.

From a humanistic framework we work on exploring themes of meaning & identity to move towards improved self-awareness & self-acceptance.

I aim to create a safe space to gain insight and understanding as to what each person's unique anxiety triggers are so that we can then work on developing healthy coping skills to manage that anxiety/panic. For some people, that means using mindfulness-based approaches and combining DBT/CBT skills to help them learn to self-regulate.
