About My Clients

You are a new mama who wants to know you are doing something right. You are in the middle of a major life transition (motherhood) and you want to feel validated and supported without being criticized for your actions and thoughts. Becoming a mama often brings up issues you might not expect. Identity changes, anxiety and depression, past traumas and memories of your own childhood to name a few. I'll help you explore those things while supporting and normalizing your unique motherhood experience.

My Background and Approach

I strive to be the most authentic therapist I can be. I will put my face on (you know what I’m talking about, mama!) and my favorite pair of jeans, but you will not find me showing up in a fancy blazer and high heels to our sessions. I keep it real, hold you accountable, and may or may not let out a few choice words here and there. I am committed to working along side you while we explore new ideas, techniques, and coping skills that will help make you feel empowered, supported, and validated as a new mama. I will listen without judgement, offer authentic support, and normalize the raw, messy, and beautiful pieces of your motherhood experience. I am passionate about disrupting the social norms of what motherhood "should" look like (because it's complete BS). The perinatal period (expecting, pregnancy, postpartum) deserves more support than ever, yet often times women suffer alone in silence. You shouldn't have to do this alone. Let me support you today!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a therapist because I am passionate about helping others in their time of need. I think everyone deserves to have someone in their corner who will genuinely listen to them without judgment, help them feel supported and empowered, as well as encourage them to be their best and most authentic self. To me, the therapy process is most successful when client’s come motivated to put in the work, and are open to change. They also understand that their worries won’t disappear over night, and that I don’t have the magical power to “fix” them. While I believe the client is in charge of the session, I will hold the client accountable for their set goals by frequently checking in with them on their progress.
