I specialize in working with individuals in their struggles with anxiety/depression, grief/loss, shame/guilt, religious/spiritual trauma, and sexual abuse and trauma. I find great worth in the stories that create who we are and would be honored to learn how I might be able to serve you.
My Background and Approach
There are painful experiences in life that can distort our view of ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. I sit with each client as the individual that they are and counsel through a process of exploring how our past is interfering with our present and hope to help you find hope and healing as you grow into the healthiest version of yourself. Counseling is based upon unconditional love, equality, humility and grace, encouraging life-long development, the fulfillment of the unique potential embodied in every person. Counseling involves assisting individuals in obtaining clarity and insight regarding their concerns, practicing flexibility in approach for the individual client, and helping individuals learn to flourish in their life. I employ a holistic approach to counseling with a strong reliance of Family Systems Theory and Attachment Theory.
