About My Clients
My clients are often thoughtful, self-aware, and doing their best to hold it all together—but inside, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. Many are navigating relationship stress, family dynamics, or the impact of past experiences/traumas. They’re ready for things to feel different, even if they’re not sure where to start.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus on trauma, anxiety, and relationship dynamics. I specialize in EMDR, which helps process experiences that continue to feel overwhelming or unresolved—especially when insight alone hasn’t created change. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and down-to-earth. Therapy with me feels like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist. I also bring a more non-traditional, authentic presence into the room, which many clients find makes it easier to relax and be themselves. Alongside deeper work, I help you build practical tools to feel more grounded and in control.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it’s shaped by the world we live in. Our identities, relationships, and mental health are all impacted by culture, systems, and lived experiences, and those things are welcome in this space. I’m deeply committed to inclusivity, equity, and human rights, and I strive to create an affirming environment for people of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences. You don’t have to filter yourself or minimize parts of who you are to be understood here. My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as your full, authentic self—while we also make sense of how your experiences have shaped you and how you want to move forward.
