About My Clients
My clients are often high-functioning on the outside but overwhelmed on the inside. They may be struggling with substance use, relapse, or feeling stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. Some are navigating anxiety, racing thoughts, avoidance, or emotional exhaustion. Others feel caught in cycles of shame — wanting to do better but unsure how to move forward.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I), practicing under clinical supervision to ensure high-quality, ethical care. My training and experience focus on substance use disorders, relapse prevention, anxiety, and cognitive overwhelm. I have worked with individuals navigating early recovery, relapse, emotional dysregulation, and life stressors that feel difficult to manage alone. My background in substance use treatment allows me to approach addiction with both clinical structure and compassion — understanding that relapse is often part of a larger cycle, not a personal failure. My Approach My therapeutic style is collaborative, direct, and supportive. I believe therapy should feel safe — but also purposeful. I integrate evidence-based approaches including: • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • Motivational Interviewing (MI) • Behavioral Activation • Relapse Prevention Planning • Psychoeducation
