I believe therapy can cultivate ease in life, to recapture what was lost, or perhaps find what was never given to you to begin with. I work with clients to help identify their wants and needs. In my office, clients depend on me to keep it real with them and use my truth in service to their healing. We stay focused on your current goals because therapy should be relevant to what you want to change right now. We laugh where we can, finding humor as medicine, even in dark moments. We’ll find out that small opportunities for growth in life turn out to be freaking brave turning points. I obtained my MSW with a concentration in Community Mental Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition to individual and group therapy in private practice, my clinical experience has been with adults incarcerated in a maximum security prison, residential treatment facilities with adolescents, and adult criminal offenders in a community-based setting.
