About My Clients

I typically work with clients experiencing the challenges of anxiety, depression, life transition, and trauma. I love teaching clients how to identify their core emotions - sadness, anger, fear, and joy - and to engage them in a way that promotes integration and health. I additionally enjoy incorporating core tenets of Christianity for clients who are interested.

My Background and Approach

I deeply value the many benefits of counseling and the therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in the person-centered theory, and focuses on empathy and understanding each client’s unique challenges. My interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity development.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Though I practice from a Christian worldview, I do not limit my clientele to the Christian community. I am open to working with men and women from all backgrounds of faith and non-faith.
