About My Clients
Jessica has nearly 13 years of experience working extensively with children from the ages 3 to 18 years old, adults, families, and the substance abuse population. She specializes in anxiety and depression, ADD/ADHD, Family Issues, Relationship Issues, and Stress. Jessica utilizes the following modalities of therapy: Play, Humanistic, Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT), Motivational Interviewing, Relational, Strength-Based, and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT). She is warm, empowering and open minded.
My Background and Approach
Jessica Henry graduated from Pepperdine University in 2010 with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jessica began her career working in community mental health, servicing the county of Los Angeles. She has nearly 13 years experience working extensively with children from the ages 3 to 18 years old, adults, families, and the substance abuse population. Currently, Jessica is only seeing clients virtually. Jessica's style is person centered. She provides unconditional positive regard with her clients. The client is the expert in their journey and she is here to assist the client to become more of a fully functioning person. Jessica utilizes a multi-faceted approach when working with clients. Every client is different and deserves an individualistic approach to therapy. She utilizes interventions from a variety of evidenced-based therapies in order to tailor the treatment and treatment plan to each client.
