About My Clients
Are you tired of feeling stuck with your health and want to understand what your body is trying to tell you? Are you living with chronic pain or medical conditions that affect daily life (cancer, obesity, autoimmune disorders, etc.)? Health psychology specializes in the mind-body connection and living better with medical diagnoses. My clients are interested in learning about their nervous system, how to manage symptoms/stress, and rebuilding confidence to live fully again.
My Background and Approach
Many of my clients seek therapy for chronic pain, fatigue, or health-related stress that hasn’t improved with medical care alone. As a health psychologist, I help people understand how the brain and body interact—how a sensitive nervous system can keep the “alarm” of pain, exhaustion, or symptom flares switched on. My mind-body approach addresses aspects of pain psychology and chronic illness support to calm the body’s stress response and restore a sense of safety. Together, we focus on self-compassion, movement, and reconnecting with meaning beyond symptoms. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients reduce distress, build resilience, and live more fully—even while managing ongoing health challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing begins when we feel empowered to take small, intentional steps toward the life we want. Even when health challenges change what’s possible, we still have the capacity to make choices that support growth and healing. My work is grounded in helping clients build sustainable habits—not quick fixes—so progress feels achievable and lasting. I see therapy as a space for compassion, curiosity, and learning new ways to relate to your body and mind. Change doesn’t happen all at once, but with consistency and support, small improvements create meaningful shifts over time. I deeply believe in each person’s capacity to adapt, heal, and reclaim a sense of control and hope in their life.
