About My Clients

I work with adults experiencing PTSD, CPTSD, and trauma. Whether from a single event or ongoing stress, many feel stuck despite their efforts. They’re looking for more than talk therapy—they want a focused, effective approach that helps them process what’s underneath and move forward.

My Background and Approach

I have been in practice since 2017 and specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, and CPTSD. I am an EMDRIA trained EMDR Therapist with 9 years experience. My approach is grounded in trauma-focused care using EMDR and Brainspotting—evidence-based methods that help the brain process and resolve PTSD and trauma at the level it’s actually stored. Rather than focusing only on insight, we work directly with the nervous system, allowing for deeper and more lasting resolution beyond traditional talk therapy. I specialize in intensive therapy formats, which create the space to do focused, uninterrupted work instead of stopping and restarting each week. This allows us to move beyond coping and process what’s underneath more efficiently. My style is direct, grounded, and collaborative. I’m here to help you move through what’s stuck so you can experience real relief, clarity, and lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in advocacy, human dignity, and creating a space where people feel safe, respected, and supported without judgment. My work is grounded in evidence-based care and a commitment to helping people heal in ways that are both effective and meaningful. I believe trauma should be addressed at its root—not just managed—and that people are capable of real, lasting change when given the right tools and environment. Therapy should be focused, intentional, and built around each individual’s needs, not a one-size-fits-all model. I also believe in showing up for vulnerable populations beyond the therapy room, which has shaped both my clinical work and my broader involvement in creating a non profit for women and children escaping domestic violence (4 Her Project). I also feel that human compassion is not enough and bring my therapy dog into my office to sit with clients. I recognizing the importance of safety, comfort, and connection in the healing process and Elsie Mae the ESA helps.
