About My Clients
You’re used to holding it all together. Capable. Thoughtful. High-achieving. But lately you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or not quite like yourself. I work primarily with women navigating pregnancy, postpartum shifts, parenting stress, and the invisible mental load of motherhood, including those planning for pregnancy or processing birth trauma or loss.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in perinatal mental health, anxiety, trauma, and the emotional transitions that come with becoming and being a parent. I provide online therapy across Illinois, Florida, and PSYPACT states. My work focuses on helping thoughtful, high-functioning adults understand why certain reactions feel bigger than they’d like — whether that’s anxiety, irritability, shutdown, or constant self-doubt. Together, we look at the patterns beneath the stress so you can respond with more steadiness and intention. I integrate depth-oriented therapy with practical tools to calm overthinking, regulate emotions, and navigate relationships with more clarity. My style is warm, collaborative, and engaged. Therapy isn’t about fixing you — it’s about helping you feel more grounded, confident, and like yourself again.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe many parents are far harder on themselves than they need to be. Even when I feel confident as a mom, I still second guess whether I’m attuned enough or getting it right — especially during stressful seasons. I see this same pattern in my clients. Parenthood is often more complex than people expect. The joy is real, but so are the guilt, doubt, and surprise at how hard each stage can feel. I also believe our reactions during parenting make sense. For some people, especially those with difficult childhood experiences, certain stages can activate old memories or emotions in ways that feel intense or confusing. Understanding those patterns can create more compassion — and more choice - in how we respond.
