About My Clients
I work with clients of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and creative, offering a safe space to explore emotions, build coping tools, and feel more grounded. Together, we’ll work toward healing, self-awareness, and lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Connecticut with a Master’s in Community Mental Health Counseling from Hampton University. My experience includes clinical internship in outpatient therapy setting and pre-licenses group practice, working with clients of all ages, as well as additional training in trauma-informed and holistic practices. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions using a collaborative, client-centered approach. In our work, I draw from creative and evidence-based techniques, from mindfulness and grounding exercises to cognitive and emotional processing so you can develop practical tools that fit your life. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported while building resilience, self-awareness, and confidence in your ability to face life’s challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and healing when given a safe, supportive space to explore their experiences. I value compassion, authenticity, and collaboration in the therapeutic process, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel truly heard and respected. I am passionate about mental health advocacy, reducing stigma, and promoting access to care for all communities. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time in nature, connecting with animals, and exploring creative outlets that bring joy and balance to life.
