About My Clients
I work with adults 18+ with specialized training in trauma and perinatal mental health. I also have experience treating depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and life transitions. My clients are motivated to work together to see sustained change and growth in their lives.
My Background and Approach
I trained in marriage and family therapy at Central Connecticut State University. My early work as a therapist was within the hospital and community mental health system, supporting inpatient and outpatient clients and people who were unhoused. I have also provided crisis therapy and employer-based mental health services. I have additional training in perinatal mental health, EMDR, internal family systems therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. I believe that, with a combination of internal awareness, self-compassion, and skill development, we can collaborate to achieve your goals together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you already have the abilities and strengths needed to grow and reach your unique goals. I can work with you to recognize and tap into your own inner resources to move through life's challenges and find meaning. I have supported clients while providing therapy in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community-based, and employer-sponsored programs. I have an authentic, strength-based approach and will work collaboratively with you. I view the therapist as a partner in your individual process and growth.
