About My Clients
I enjoy helping people deal with stress management, burnout, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and trauma. This practice is built for people who are used to pushing through- people who work hard, take care of others, and don’t always have space to slow down and deal with what’s going on underneath. That includes: -People in rural communities -Blue-collar and hands-on professions -First responders and high-stress roles -Anyone who feels like therapy usually doesn’t “fit” them
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor offering telehealth therapy for people who want practical, down-to-earth support. With a background growing up on a farm, involvement in 4-H, equestrian sports, and rodeo, I understand the values of hard work, independence, and resilience. I understand therapy can sometimes feel out of touch or uncomfortable. I work with clients navigating stress, feelings of depression, relationships, and life challenges, focusing on real-world tools that actually fit your life. I have a background in OCD management as well. I have several years of experience in equine-facilitated psychotherapy and research on the role of animals in emotional-regulation and connection. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT and trauma-informed care. I value using your skills and interests to support your growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value honesty, accountability, hard work, and finding the good in others. I think we all have skills and talents we can provide in this world, and I love connecting with others to find their passions. I am still very involved in rural communities and think being involved in what is important to us keeps our world going. I enjoy teaching and meeting new people.
