About My Clients

I actively center culture in my life and therapeutic work, and am a firm believer that connecting to our culture can promote healing, growth, self-acceptance, help us shed internalized oppressive views, as well as foster self-awareness and a deeper connection to our more authentic selves. I am passionate about working with the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community, help others with their decolonization process, and connect to their inner power and wisdom.

My Background and Approach

My approach is an integrative one, where I believe healing and growth come from supporting our mind, body, and spirit. I use a cultural, trauma-informed lens, that centers social and restorative justice values. I am formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Chicana/o/x Affirmative Therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm a fierce advocate for social justice, disrupting and dismantling systems of oppression, centering collaborative and integrative practices within systems of care, and decolonizing psychology & therapy. I have worked to develop culturally-responsive therapy practices within managed care settings, and continue to advocate for BIPOC communities and BIPOC clinicians.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
