About My Clients

I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and elderly who are navigating challenges related to substance use, relationship conflicts, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, stress management, and anger/frustration. In our first session, I focus on building rapport and taking the time to hear your story. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up, knowing that beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar or even intimidating.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Indiana, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to support individuals on their path to wellness. I have over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Saint Francis and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University. If we work together, we will form a collaborative therapeutic relationship where I will listen, support, and challenge you to foster personal growth. I routinely incorporate a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My goal is to foster a warm, trusting space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to share openly as we work together toward your personal goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe that even in life’s most overwhelming and stressful moments, every person has the potential to grow and find balance. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe that, with support, individuals can uncover and develop the tools they need to improve their well-being, build resilience, and navigate challenges with confidence. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, empowering clients to explore their strengths, set meaningful goals, and take steps toward a more fulfilling and manageable life.
