My Background and Approach
Jessica's therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and empowerment, drawing on a variety of techniques including play therapy and mindfulness as it applies to a more mature and developed mind and brain. She believes in focusing on each client’s strengths, using these qualities to support them in their journey towards self-empowerment and resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Since 2003, Jessica has worked bringing her skills and expertise to diverse clinical settings, including public and special education schools, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. In addition to her private practice She has also worked extensively in the past with the Safe Start program, supporting children exposed to domestic violence. Jessica is passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and has presented at various conferences, emphasizing the impact of domestic violence on children and ways to prevent teen dating violence. She is also an expert witness in domestic violence cases, sharing her deep knowledge and commitment to helping others. As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, Jessica creates a welcoming, inclusive environment for clients of all backgrounds and experiences.
