About My Clients
Does it feel like life is full of setbacks? Like you are stuck and not sure where to go? You might even think to yourself, "I should be able to figure this out all on my own!". It may feel like life is overwhelming, you worry, you find it difficult to maintain relationships, you feel hopeless, or you avoid talking about yourself or your experience because you always put others first. I welcome all who are seeking to understand their past and how it continues to affect them today.
My Background and Approach
I use cognitive behavioral therapy to assist you in identifying how your thoughts are connected to your emotions and how they interact to influence your behaviors. I am also trained in Brainspotting (a trauma-informed therapeutic approach), which helps move the "stuckness" that we sometimes feel build up in life. You will see results in our sessions because I take an action-oriented approach, allowing us to identify solutions for core change.
