About My Clients
I work with teens (13+) and adults who feel stuck with anxiety, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or overwhelm. Many are juggling stress from school, work, relationships, or big life changes while the anxiety goblin runs commentary in the background. They’re insightful, capable, and ready for support that helps them move forward with clarity and confidence.
My Background and Approach
With a background in sociology and women & gender studies, I understand how identity, relationships, and environment shape our experiences. This perspective allows me to hold the bigger picture while keeping therapy deeply focused on you. My approach is collaborative, relatable, and grounded in evidence-based care. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) within a person-centered framework. Sessions feel more like a thoughtful conversation than a lecture. We’ll work on understanding patterns, learning practical tools, and turning down the volume on the anxiety goblin, with the occasional sprinkle of psychoeducation and optional homework to support growth between sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be approachable, judgment-free, and human. Life is messy, and the anxiety goblin loves to convince us we’re behind, broken, or doing it wrong. I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and safe enough to be honest. I believe growth happens when insight meets compassion. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about understanding yourself, building boundaries, and developing tools that help you respond rather than react. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, confidence, and self-trust so they can move through life with intention instead of letting the goblin run the show.
