About My Clients
I work with adults who come to therapy after experiences that have changed them in lasting ways. Often this includes the death of someone close, the end of a relationship, or a life transition that has unsettled their sense of identity and direction. Some arrive in the early shock of grief, while others come later, when the loss continues to shape how they understand love, attachment, and who they are becoming. My practice is a good fit for people who feel that what they’ve lived through cannot
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with adults navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions. My work is shaped both by my professional training and by my own experiences with loss, which led me to understand how deeply grief can change the way we see ourselves and the world. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle and have advanced training in EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, parts-informed therapy, and experiential approaches. My style is relational, depth-oriented, and focused on helping clients work through experiences that cannot be resolved with insight alone. Some people come to therapy in the acute stages of grief, while others come later, when loss continues to shape their identity, relationships, and sense of meaning. My approach allows space for both practical support and deeper exploration, depending on what each person needs.
