About My Clients
You’re not imagining it—perimenopause can throw everything off. Mood swings, anxiety, sleep struggles, and brain fog are real, and they don’t have to take over your life. I work with women navigating hormonal shifts and mental health changes, helping them feel clear, steady, and in control again. If you’ve been told to “just push through” but know you need real solutions, you’re in the right place. Let’s make a plan that actually works for you.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Jessica Beachkofsky (Dr. B) is a board-certified psychiatrist with specialized training in Reproductive Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology, Motivational Interviewing, and Lifestyle Medicine. She completed residency in 2012 after earning her medical degree, then spent over a decade in the military as a clinician, educator, and medical director. Now, she runs a virtual psychiatry clinic focused on helping women untangle the mental health challenges of perimenopause—because hormones impact the brain, and mental health care should reflect that. Dr. B believes treatment should be collaborative, transparent, and empowering. She combines evidence-based medication management with therapy, behavior change strategies, and real-world solutions to help women feel steady, clear, and in control. Whether you’re struggling with mood swings, anxiety, sleep issues, or brain fog, she’ll help you find a treatment plan that aligns with your values and actually works for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Mental health care should be clear, collaborative, and actually helpful. That’s why I’m all about straight talk, science-backed solutions, and strategies that actually work. No fluff. No “just push through it.” Just real support to help you feel like you again. I specialize in hormone-aware psychiatry for perimenopause, helping women navigate mood swings, sleep struggles, brain fog, and beyond. With training in Reproductive Psychiatry, Lifestyle Medicine, and Motivational Interviewing, I take a whole-person approach—because mental health isn’t just in your head. It’s in your brain, body, and life. I also love teaching and collaborating, making psychopharm less intimidating for NPs and therapists. And yes, I really do get excited about brain science! I’m the owner of Beach Health PLLC, where I provide virtual, personalized psychiatry for women in perimenopause. If your hormones are throwing a tantrum, I’m here to help you get things back on track.
