About My Clients
Although I can help with a variety of mental health challenges, I specialize in working with children who have experienced the loss of a loved one, have a chronic or terminal illness, have a parent or caregiver with a serious illness, or who have medical related anxiety.
My Background and Approach
Since 2010, I have been working with children and families in and out of healthcare settings both as a Certified Child Life Specialist and a counselor. I enjoy working with children and families to provide them with empathic support and help them navigate life's challenges. Utilizing both my specialties, I am able to provide an encompassing supportive environment for children experiencing trauma, loss, or other concerns. I utilize both directive and non directive play therapy interventions, tailored to each individual child.
