Wondering which ball will drop first? Are the to-do lists swirling around in your head at all hours of the day (and night)? You worry about work when you are with your family, and you worry about your family when you are at work? I get it. The massive amounts of responsibility for professional working women can really do a number on our brains. Therapy can provide a nurturing space where you can untangle the mess and feel empowered to manage the challenge with clarity and peace.
My Background and Approach
I am a true believer in nurturing our strengths in order to manage our struggles. I also believe that the magic of therapy lies in a safe and nurturing relationship where you feel empowered to explore your experiences so that you can continue to grow and thrive. I combine my experience in education, mental health, mindfulness and positive psychology in a way that educates, supports, and empowers you wherever you are. I use a holistic approach, meaning I believe that mental health is not just about our mind, but driven by our body and our beliefs as well. Discarding past experiences and your future dreams will not support your wellbeing, we need to nurture the whole person. I work from a trauma informed lens in order to understand and support your stress response system. I am licensed in Colorado and support women virtually all across the state.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally believe that we all operate from a space of either fear or love, and when we are able to experience a space that is safe and free of judgement, we will begin to grow in ways we never knew were possible. I believe that education is power, and when you can know and understand how your experience impacts your perspective, you can truly begin to be well. I believe all people are deserving of wellness, and that given the right conditions, and capable of growth and joy and ease.
