About My Clients
My clients are adults who identify as polyamorous or consensually non-monogamous, kinky or BDSM communities, trans and gender-diverse individuals, and those living alternative lifestyles. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and multi-partner relationship systems seeking support with communication, consent, boundaries, jealousy, power dynamics, and connection. I aim to provide an affirming space to explore identity, strengthen relationships, and build lives that feel authentic.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that our struggles do not exist in isolation from the systems we live within. I draw from attachment-based work, parts work, and narrative therapy to help clients better understand their internal experiences, relational patterns, and the stories they’ve been taught about themselves. Together we explore how past relationships, unmet needs, and protective parts may shape present challenges while building greater compassion and agency. My work is also informed by liberation psychology, community-centered care, and harm reduction. I believe mental health is deeply connected to social context, power, and systems of oppression, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that honors clients’ lived experiences while supporting self-determination. Therapy with me often focuses on strengthening relationships, deepening self-compassion, and developing tools that support sustainable change and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work as a therapist is grounded in the belief that healing happens when people feel seen, respected, and affirmed in their full identities. I also believe that healing thrives within long-term relationships and communities, where we feel safe and can develop more secure attachment with ourselves and with one another. I believe in de-carceral approaches to mental health and in the power of community to foster well-being beyond reliance on psychiatric systems. As a trans and nonbinary clinician with lived experience in polyamorous and alternative lifestyle spaces, I bring both professional training and personal experience to my work. I am passionate about supporting clients navigating nontraditional relationship dynamics, consent, and aspects of life that don’t fit neatly into society’s neat, prescriptive labels for selfhood and relationships.
