About My Clients
My ideal client is age 12-21 who struggles with depression, anxiety, self worth, making friends, keeping friends, talking with parents, or identifying their own feelings and lives in Arkansas. My Background and Approach
I use a Person Centered approach to therapy as well as concepts and interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My client's opinion and direction in therapy matters. I look to partner with my clients and help be a guide on their journey to mental and emotional health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am first and foremost a Christian. My values and core beliefs about the world, people, and my own identity flow through this worldview. I am a strong advocate for people with developmental disabilities such as autism. I have volunteered with the church on and off for the past 8 years serving this population, while also working as a case manager for people with developmental disabilities for a time as well. My wife and I adopted/rescued a dog from the local animal shelter. He almost died in the shelter and we rehabilitated him to a happy and healthy state.
