About My Clients

Do you have tasks that are a top priority but you keep struggling to complete them? Have you read the same sentence over and over again, but still can't remember what it says? Are you exhausted by all the different things you've tried, finding yourself feeling inadequate, and starting to worry others may see the real you? If this sounds all too familiar, you don't have to keep struggling alone. Imagine what your life could look like if you had the strategies to support your unique needs.

My Background and Approach

I enjoy collaborating with clients who are committed to finding meaning and contentment in their life – even when it feels like an impossibility. I have extensive experience working with both adolescents and adults and specialize in supporting people who are working through integration of ADHD, anxiety, and men’s issues. I value hospitality as an invitation for people to belong, authenticity in listening and communication, and creativity as a means of discovering new solutions. I excel at helping people stand tall against their inner critic and begin living a more confident and self-assured life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a kid growing up with undiagnosed attention and impulsivity issues, I bounced between bringing the “too much” intensity to making myself scarce to avoid criticism and conflict. Learning the “hows” and “whys” of my brain working differently than those around me brought life-changing levels of self-awareness and allowed me to just be me. As a recovering people-pleaser, I’ve learned the skills needed to speak my mind with empathy and respect for myself and others. As a therapist, I have found profound meaning in using my education and training to support others. Too many people have been taught to conceal their true identities because of critical and damaging messages about who they are. I believe true hospitality is allowing someone to be authentically themself and accepting them just as they are. If there is a part of you that you keep hidden because of past shame and embarrassment, imagine the difference compassion and acceptance could make in your life. Contact me if you're ready.
