I focus entirely on counseling individuals and do not see couples or families. Areas of expertise: anxiety, depression, trauma (I am EMDR trained), anger management, chronic illness/pain, grief, stress, school issues, self-esteem and parenting.
My Background and Approach
I am a person-centered therapist, which means my focus is to make sure you feel heard, understood and that you receive understanding and clarity regarding the concerns/frustrations which are bringing you into therapy. I am also trained in EMDR as I have found it to be the most effective trauma therapy currently available. It is not only a trauma therapy that helps to heal the wounds of the past, but it can truly transform you in the process.

The fact is that it takes courage to make the decision to reach out and start your journey towards healing.
