About My Clients
Feeling anxious or weighed down by depression? You may be questioning your career, relationships, feel stuck, overwhelmed, or estranged from what “should” feel fulfilling. Many of the people I work with, including LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks, developed early relational adaptations to survive and belong—patterns that may now shape connection, self-trust, and vitality. We can deepen awareness of these patterns and move beyond old molds that no longer fit, so you can experience more satisfaction.
My Background and Approach
I’m a trauma-informed therapist with a warm, engaged, collaborative, and insight-oriented style. I draw from Internal Family Systems, AEDP, and psychodynamic approaches to help you better understand your inner world, recognize long-standing patterns, and develop more intentional ways of relating to yourself and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy, to me, is a relational space where what’s been carried alone can be held with care and understood with nuance. I believe symptoms often make sense in context—they can be intelligent adaptations to early experiences, family dynamics, and systems we’ve had to navigate. Rather than “fixing” you, I’m interested in helping you get to know your inner world with curiosity and compassion, so new choices become possible. I value authenticity over perfection, and I believe healing happens over time through insight, emotional processing, and a steady therapeutic relationship. My aim is to offer work that is warm, collaborative, and grounded—where you can feel seen, reclaim self-trust, and relate to yourself and others with more freedom.
