About My Clients
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in painful patterns, unfulfilled in relationships, or uncertain during times of transition. Others seek support in understanding their identity, emotions, or direction in life. I work with adults who want to feel more authentic, empowered, and at ease with themselves and others. Together, we create space to explore, understand, and grow in ways that feel meaningful and lasting.
My Background and Approach
I am a postdoctoral Psychological Associate in the state of California (Registration #94029045), supervised by Dr. James Norwood (CA License #33379). I completed my graduate training at the New School for Social Research, where I focused on individual, relational and integrative psychotherapy with adults across outpatient, community, and university counseling settings. My work is collaborative and interactive, and tailored to each client’s personal challenges and goals. I draw from perspectives and principles from across psychotherapies to help clients to identify words and meaning for their experiences, deepen their self- understanding and discovery, and feel more authentic and empowered in their relationships with others, and with themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that through cultivating progressive understanding, we can better take charge of the way that we relate to people, situations, and, perhaps most importantly, ourselves. I strive to listen closely and let folks know what I’m hearing from them, encouraging our therapy to take place in the present moment and point towards the future, and bringing another perspective to what’s going on, and what might be done or done differently.
