About My Clients
I specialize in culturally responsive therapy for youth, adults, and families impacted by trauma, addiction, systemic oppression, and community violence. I support clients navigating addiction, ADHD, grief, anxiety, depression, parenting stress, anger, self-harm, racial identity, and burnout. Whether you're facing big transitions or deep wounds, I’ll meet you with care, clarity, and tools to help you heal and grow.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a licensed therapist, I spent years supporting my community—giving me over a decade of hands-on experience. I have worked in schools as a social worker and sports coach, residential treatment facilities, community centers, government agencies, hospitals, and research labs. As a dual-trained Mental Health Therapist and Addiction Counselor, I blend real-life wisdom, education, and clinical training to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're working through trauma, addiction, anxiety, or just feeling stuck, I bring a grounded and compassionate approach that centers your unique strengths and needs. I specialize in working with people navigating trauma, life transitions, burnout, and the weight of generational or systemic stress. I have deep experience working with those struggling with substance use, especially when it’s tied to deeper pain or unmet needs. My role isn’t to fix you—it’s to walk with you, offer support, and create a safe space to heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Black and Indigenous mental health therapist, I center the unique intersectional identities of every client I serve. My holistic approach honors the complex ways culture, history, and lived experience shape how we navigate—and survive—the world. I’m here to hold space for your full story and help you move toward healing, growth, and balance.
