About My Clients

My clinical expertise is varied, with work around depression, anxiety, life adjustments, disability, and substance abuse. I look to empower my clients through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, alongside goal seeking and thought challenging. The ideal client, in my opinion, is the one that looks to be themselves, and is open to making positive changes in their life.

My Background and Approach

I have a diverse background, having knowledge of CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and even some engineering experience. I completed my master's in marriage and family therapy at Pacific Oaks College, as well as attaining a Bachelor's in Science for Chemical Engineering. I also have experience in working in Rehabilitation centers, such as the Gooden Center and Elijah's House in Pasadena.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In my experience in therapy, I find that every person deserves the opportunity to seek their best life. From the difficulties of mental health, to the general fatigue that comes with everyday living, the world is full of doubt and grief. Events from early on in life can impact the thinking and life in very intense ways. Trauma and adjustment are never easy to face, but therapy gives us the opportunity to put down our barriers and challenge the harmful cognitions that keep us down.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
