About My Clients
I have extensive experience working with various populations treating a variety of mental health disorders. A few areas that I work with include anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationships, communication, social anxiety, cultural issues among many more.
My Background and Approach
As a clinical counselor who has had the privilege of working with various populations, I have come to learn that it’s not so much what happens to you, it’s more so how you react and cope with life's various hurdles. The past 2 years alone have shown us some of the most stressful circumstances of our times, pushing many people to places they never imagined they would be. When things get difficult, it is sometimes difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Regardless of how perilous the journey appears, there’s always many different options to deal with life’s circumstances.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the way out of any storm is through it, and that there’s always a solution to any problem or issue you may be faced with, even if it doesn’t seem like it in the moment. Sometimes it takes some guidance to help find the motivation to take the first step and many times, taking the first step can be scary. I am committed to helping all individuals take that step towards the growth they seek. I will work with you to create a plan and goals that will help you to develop the skills to gain control back.
