My Background and Approach
I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a proactive and collaborative approach to counseling. In our work together, we will focus on two main areas: Developing Practical Skills: You'll learn techniques to reduce the influence of unhelpful thoughts and feelings, empowering you to respond in ways that align with your values and goals. Clarifying Your Values: We will work together to identify what truly matters to you—what you want your life to stand for—and how you can start living in accordance with those values. I have over 9 years of experience in the mental health field, specializing in working with athletes and high achievers across various domains. My background also includes extensive training in sport and performance psychology, which has deeply informed my approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion for this field grew from my own experience as an athlete, facing mental health challenges without understanding their significance. This personal insight, combined with my professional experience, allows me to take a unique, holistic approach to helping you perform at your best—both mentally and emotionally.
