About My Clients
Are you tired of feeling sick and tired? Feel like others don't understand where you are coming. feeling isolated and stuck are feelings that I work well with, be it with mental health struggles or with substance use struggles. I work with individuals with 2 specialty areas, one with psychological evaluation and testing and 2nd with counseling. Individuals in counseling want to feel heard, understood and encouraged to make the changes that are value driven.
My Background and Approach
My background is a combination of addiction treatment centers, psychiatric units and medical hospitals prior to private practice. My approach is person centered and making a connection is of upmost importance and vital to the process. I believe no one knows your life better than you. My role in your care is to help incorporate use of cognitive behavior therapy, Acceptance commitment therapy and motivational therapy to apply to your life to help improve your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone can have personal growth and everyone is capable of recovery. Therapy and psychological evaluations can improve life tremendously. I believe heavily in providing compassionate care, especially after seeing how difficult the mental health system can be to navigate. I am a supporter of special needs events both as being committed to psychology but being a father with 3 neurodivergent children.
