About My Clients
I love working with clients from 16 up. I am equipped to work with an eclectic field of clients. I am trained in mindfulness, I am trauma informed, anxiety and depression, couples work, and most things you may be struggling with in life. All clients are welcome on my couch.
My Background and Approach
I am an LPC who has trained in several areas of therapy. I have experience with addiction, trauma (in children and adults), mindfulness, regulation skills, anxiety and depression management, and being an ear to listen and reflect. I enjoy blending therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs and the goals you are working towards. There will always be a psychoanalytic element as I believe our past forms our present. I can bring in skills from DBT, CBT, DDP, mindfulness, gestaltian, and other techniques that may fit your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there is too much judgment and negativity cast upon us as we navigate through life. I believe that my role is to be non-judgmental, to listen and reflect on your story as an outside observer. While being an outside observer, I want to walk along side you through whatever struggle you may be facing. I will never judge, or cast my own opinions on you. I will listen with compassion and kindness while gently challenging your views and understandings to create positive growth and rapport.
