We collaborate on goals and formulate treatment plans specific to you. I maintain a safe space for clients of all faiths, belief systems, races, orientations, gender identities, and socioeconomic statuses.
My Background and Approach
I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. I specialize in Relationship/Couples/Marital Issues, Individual Therapy, Depression, Anxiety, Religious Trauma, Grief/Loss, and Spiritual Growth. I have been an ordained Lutheran-Christian pastor for over 19 years and can implement faith and spirituality into therapy if the client wants.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is beautifully and wonderfully made and has the strength and ability to overcome any of life's challenges. I believe all people should have a safe and judgment-free place to share their thoughts and feelings and be themselves. I help co-lead an LGBTQ+ Parent Support Group. This group supports parents whose children have recently come out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. The group offers a place to process emotions, learn coping skills, and connect with peers. The group's main objective is to learn skills to build/maintain relationships.
