About My Clients
Let's get you to where you want to be. I will listen with curiosity and work with you to support you in growing your resources and strengths so you can thrive. I work primarily with women and LGBTQIA populations in relation to trauma, perinatal mental health, chronic health issues, anxiety, and depression. Clients come to me seeking to be seen through an integrative lens.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in mental health for 25 years. I have learned through experience, research, and training that we have to include the body in all forms of therapy. I look at underlying health issues, gut function, immune function, nutrition, sleep, hormone balance, lifestyle factors, boundaries, thought patterns, vagal response, and blood sugar balance in relation to my clients' mental health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are one organism ... mind, body, gut, etc are all in constant interaction and affecting one another as we move through our lives. I love to support clients in understanding and supporting their unique and complex systems as we identify non-negotiables for health.
