About My Clients
I work with many who feel isolated and alone in their struggles and worries. I help clients like you, address symptoms related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, attachment, sexual identity, grief, ambiguous loss, and parenting challenges.
My Background and Approach
I have training and experience but am also a human who has experienced many of these challenges that life has dealt, and can relate to most clients personally and professionally. I often find myself in session thinking, "I so get that!". I won't judge you, shame, embarrass or force you to share what you're not comfortable sharing, but I will listen and help you find ways to release the stress and pressure through practical tools. I have many years of experience working with youth, adults, and families. I combine my experiences of working in schools, residential centers, homes, churches, & an immigrant center to help clients like you find joy in the midst of stressful life situations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that to be human means we all struggle at times and can get stuck. You might feel embarrassed to open up about what you’re really going through, even to family and friends. I provide a non-judgemental space for you to talk freely about what’s bothering you. I am LGBTQIA affirmative, and strive to be anti-racist. I am committed to continually examining my own privilege and racial bias.
