About My Clients
I have dedicated the majority of my career working with adolescents and young adults, and it is a true joy of mine. I sincerely enjoy the energy and enthusiasm that comes with interacting with young people. More important, is helping my clients deal with the many issues and struggles that accompany being young. This time in your life does not have to be so scary and uncertain with the right tools and frame of mind. I can help to support you on your path and transition to where you are looking
My Background and Approach
Appointments are usually about 50 minutes in length. Our initial visit will be a detailed assessment which involves me asking a lot of questions about your history, background and strengths. This is done as a way of helping me understand you and your goals of therapy. While at first it might be uncomfortable to speak about such private matters, you will learn that I offer a warm, non-judgmental and authentic approach. I never underestimate the power of a sense of humor and flexibility with my clients. This is your time and your journey; if there is something specific you are requesting that I'm not offering I want to know. You are the driver in this car; I'm just helping to navigate.
