About My Clients
I work best with adults who are ready for honest, meaningful change. Many are navigating addiction recovery, life after treatment, relationship or intimacy concerns, shame, anxiety, identity shifts, or a season that no longer fits who they are becoming. I also support professionals who carry a lot for everyone else and need a private space to exhale. Therapy here is direct, affirming, sex-positive, and grounded in real life—not judgment or perfection.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas. I am also pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology. My background includes clinical leadership, addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, and supporting adults through the complicated parts of recovery, relationships, intimacy, and major life change. I bring both clinical depth and a practical, human approach to therapy. That means we can make room for the feelings underneath the surface while also building tools you can use between sessions. I draw from motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to help you identify what is keeping you stuck, reconnect with yourself, and make changes that feel sustainable. You do not need to be in crisis or have everything figured out to benefit from therapy. Whether you are rebuilding after addiction, working through shame, navigating sex or relationship concerns,
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you do not have to shrink, perform, or explain why your identity and lived experience matter. I value authenticity, autonomy, compassion, and personal accountability—and I believe people can change without being shamed into it. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, trauma-informed, recovery-supportive, and welcoming of clients from diverse racial, cultural, spiritual, and relationship backgrounds. I support bodily autonomy, harm reduction, social justice, and the right to define a meaningful life on your own terms. You will not be asked to fit a religious, political, or “one-size-fits-all” version of healing here. I am especially drawn to work that helps people challenge shame, reclaim their voice, build healthier relationships, and make choices aligned with who they truly are. I bring warmth, directness, humor when it helps, and a deep respect for the fact that every person’s path is their own.
