My Background and Approach
I have 9+ years experience providing mental health services in outpatient settings including DBT IOP group therapy, individual therapy, and school based mental health services. My theoretical orientation is CBT/DBT but incorporate insight orientated therapy and positive psychology into my practice. Therapy is not not one size fits all. I provide a safe place for people to feel heard and validated without judgments or assumptions. I hope to help clients build insight and confidence while incorporating self-compassion, self-validation, and self-acceptance into each session. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy with a focus on strengthening skills that support people to make positive change in their lives.
